When has there ever been too much support?

As most things in life, they happen for a reason. A couple was formed, one United States Service Member and one Health Care Provider. Soon, they would try to start a family, but life had other plans. After going through the traumatic loss of this new hope, both sides decided to never let anyone feel this loneliness again. Although they had each other, they had to return to work, go to social gatherings, and act like they were not torn inside. After diving deep into their feelings, emotions, and actions, they understood that they were suffering from Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder. To them, it was unbelievable to think there are no other supports or victims of PTSD everywhere they went. So the idea hit them, make it noticeable.
Hence, Four Over One was born. They distinctively designed a symbol to represent what they were feeling in an edgy, comforting, identifiable logo. A number Four overlapping a number One to show the four ways PTSD can intrude on ones life; Avoidance, Intrusive Memory, Negative Thinking, and Arousal, or better known as Physical and Emotional Reactions. With this idea, this symbol, they aim to never let anyone feel alone in a crowded room again. They understand the need for support with having to re-explain and thus re-live their experiences. It is always comforting to know there is support, even if they are strangers, neighbors, friends, or family. Their Trademarked slogan "Wear Something That Matters" is not only perfect to match their idea but speaks highly to what it does for survivors of PTSD, matters.

Currently, we are starting with T-shirts and standard Pullovers/Hoodies. We do intend to expand to customer focused apparel items that they believe will further support the cause. Drop us a message if you have any ideas!
As much as we may seem like it, we are in fact NOT a Charity, although we do donate to several. Our goal is to be an Apparel Company with tangible, noticeable relief for survivors of PTSD. There are numerous Charities, but we want to attack this disorder from all angles.
